Joint Stock Post-Pension Bank "Aval"
The IMF's and NBU's recognition of Bank 'Aval's' prominent position among the top seven largest banks. Its reliability is confirmed by the auditing company, 'Arthur Andersen'. The reporting period has affirmed the nation-wide importance of Bank 'Aval'.
The Bank operates under a license of the National Bank of Ukraine № 94, as of March 27, 1992.
"Aval" was granted permission by the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance to commence activities as a depository for investment funds and investment companies.
"Aval" was accepted to the International society of inter-bank transactions, S.W.I.F.T.
The Bank was officially accredited for participation in the realization of ERBD projects.
The Bank was granted permission by the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance to commence activities in the issue and circulation of securities.
JSPPB "Aval" won the tender for servicing the Ukrainian Customs Committee.
NBU license №10 was rebewed on 30.12.1996 granting the right to conduct banking operations, the number of which was increased to 31 to include the servicing of the Ukrainian budget.
28 directorates and branches and 250 remote branches were opened.
The Bank became a member of the international payment systems VISA and EUROPAY.
"Aval's" own processing center commenced operations and the Bank began issuing four types each of VISA and EUROPAY cards.
The capital of the Bank was increased due to the issue of new shares , and today it constitutes more than 74,5 million hryvnyas.

JSC "International Commerce Bank"
The bank was registered in January 1994 in the city of Cherkassy as the bank "Levada". For a period of 5 years, it functioned as a small regional bank performing a limited number of banking operations. In April of 1999, the Bank was restructured. It changed significantly its authorized capital, shareholders' structure as well as the trends of its development and activity. Due to this, the Bank reinforced considerably its presence in the Ukrainian market of banking and financial services. The name of the Bank was changed to the JSC "International Commerce Bank", and its Head Office moved to Kyiv. Now it is situated in the city`s ancient district, the Podil, on the premises of Gostinnyi Dvir.
The banking license was expanded, internal procedures were developed and adopted in compliance with the effective legislation of Ukraine and international banking practice. The Bank operates under a license of the National Bank of Ukraine, № 91, as of January 13, 2000.
The capital of the Bank was increased due to the issue of new shares , and today it constitutes more than 21 million hryvnyas.
